A hose rupture is often a costly and potentially risky affair, something that could be avoided altogether with preventive maintenance. Therefore, we always recommend our customers to review their applications before a risk for incidents develops. During the overhaul, Hydroscand's service technicians inspect all your hoses and pipe components and set up a maintenance plan for your installation.

The recommended frequency of ongoing reviews varies considerably based on the customer's needs. Initially, your installations may need of more frequent inspections, which subsequently develop into longer service intervals.  Some of our customers carry out maintenance work one to three times a year while other require weekly overhaul.  We help develop a schedule based on your needs.

Hydroscand also conducts pressure testing of hoses. This is an important safety measure to reduce the risk of both personal injury and machine damage.  In particular, the careful testing is required where your hose is carrying aggressive media or any fluid that contaminates the environment should an uncontrolled emission take place.

Hydroscand offers specific maintenance services for garages, know as our Workshop Overhaul. This means that we review all machines and tools that include hoses and different types of fittings, adapters or valves. After a thorough review, a protocol is created with an associated action plan. At the same time, a quotation is drawn up so that you know exactly what the various recommended measures would cost right from the start. This way, you can be confident that the cost of maintenance will quickly pay for itself, as unplanned downtime can be completely avoided.
