Tolerance in mounted hoses
| Hose length(mm) | Tolerance |
| 0-300 | +/- 3 mm |
| 300-1000 | +/- 6 mm |
| 1000- | +/- 1% of hose length |
Alignment
Hold the hose so that you can look along the hose and the coupling farthest away from you points straight up (0°). Then measure the angle between the vertical coupling and the one closest to you by turning it clockwise to the desired position. The ratio between the couplings can then be expressed between 0° to 360°. Unless otherwise specified, tolerance of +/- 3°for hose length is up to 610 mm and +/- 5 °for hose length over 610 mm. If the angle is not stated when ordering, the hoses will be supplied with the couplings in 0° alignment. Tolerances are given in accordance with SAE J517 2003-07.How to specify the hose length when ordering
