Air filter prevents hydraulic oil from contamination.  Due to volume changes in the oil,  the air stream is affected and the air that is sucked in needs to be filtered to ensure that particles do not end up in the oil. We have both pipe-mounted and tank-mounted filters in various connections and materials.
